Category 3 Blizzicane Headed for the East Coast USA!?

Just looked at the long range forecast over at TropicalTidbits and their model is showing a major snowstorm brewing for the Northeast USA for Saturday January 29 and Sunday January 30, 2022.

The lowest barometric pressure they list is 958 mb which is the equivalent of a category 3 hurricane.

Of course, this forecast could change 20 times between now and then, but this is something to keep an eye on. But with the possibility of a major Blizzicane heading to a highly populated area, there is the possibility of prolonged power outages. If that were to occur, would you be able to survive? If not, maybe you should do something about it before it is too late.

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Luke 21:36

  2. You were right. Looks like a hurricane near NYC over the weekend. We remember level 1 hurricane further out at sea during the 9/11 attacks. Plus the snowy and icy scenery in the IPG2 movie about New York area!

A Bomb cyclone with the power of a Hurricane will unleash snow and Blizzard-like conditions this weekend

    1. Yea, sometimes the models get it right, from my experience it all depends on the track of the storm just a slight change can maen a big difference in snow totals. I remember one storm where they said 1 to 3 and we ended up with 18.
