William......Deuteronomy 28 has blessed our country as we followed its rules in verses 1-14. We became the greatest nation on this planet. Exceedingly plentiful in goods, fruit of the womb, cattle, fruit of the ground....and we were a lender to other nations.
ReplyDeleteBut we started slipping backwards. Throwing God out of our schools, legalizing abortion, giving the LGBTQ crowd cartablanch with their wicked ways.
This started in the 70's...and in 1985 we went from a lender nation to a debtor nation....and going so much in debt at an exponentially rate, the graph is near vertical.
We are under curse, and just as God promised he would bless us per verses 1-14, He will likewise curse us according to Jis words in verses 15- to the end of chapter 28.
This all fits why and how our country is collapsing.
I can NOT honestly pray for our country to survive simply because I BELIEVE it is beyond prayer as we are under curse.
People think the 2Chronicles 7:14 card will be our "keep out of jail" card .....but we have to turn from our ways.....and to be blunt, we will NOT....
If we read Jeremiah chapter 7...God himself is so fed up that he tells Jeremiah in verse 16
..NOT to pray for these people, neither make intercession to Him, as I will NOT hear thee."
God has given us decades to change from our ways, and we have changed...but for the worse.
We are under judgment and as crazy as times are now, it wont be long we will wish we were back in 2021.
If anyone really knows me, they would say I have always been an eternal optimist.....but I sure dont sound like one now.
Honestly, I am being a realist AND am even more extremely optimistic. As I see Gods promises both dealt out with rewards while we honored Him, and even as He judges us for not honoring Him....seeing this play out builds my faith higher than it's ever been. We are indeed very fortunate to be the small fraction of 1% in my opinion that get what is really going on and we KNOW our faith in Christ is going to bless us with an eternity of living that we are not capable of imagining.
Yes, I am OPTIMISTIC how this will play out. Amen
I have the same feeling, that it is too late--judgment is coming. But I hope at the very least that many will call out to Jesus for the forgiveness of their sins.

Yes I saw that, it is so sad, there are people with blood on their hands and will answer to God, may many turn to God in repentance.
