Preparing for the Financial Crash

The Financial Crash--we know it is coming--the question is when, and what can we do to prepare?

Yes, that is right a financial collapse is coming, it is listed in scripture as one of the events that will happen before the rapture--Seal 3. We know that the antichrist will be brought to the scene as the solution to the world's problems after the demise of WWIII, the financial collapse, and the worldwide pandemic.
I have included a chapter in my book The Coming Epiphany about being prepared, which is linked at the sidebar. To double check my preps I emailed a friend, Roy, who I respect and asked his opinion. (Roy was used of the Lord to help me come to the realization of the fact that the rapture will not occur until after the sixth seal is opened and has also helped mentor me in the pre wrath view. He has a website called Prophecy Truths.) I thought others would benefit by hearing what he has written and as usual none of this is to be considered financial advice--just his opinion.

Actually, I have always modestly prepared for something like this (very modestly). There is no perfect preparation, since we do not know what will happen exactly and when it will happen in sequence. I also know from many modern words of prophecy through many others, that this economic crash engineered by man, will affect nations all over the earth. Their intent is to seize control (NWO folks). You (likely) cannot run away to a safe place and watch it all unfold from a safe distance. Therefore, your question is appropriate in a general sense--what can we do individually to prepare, knowing that each person's preps will be different than the next person's. And also realizing that we likely cannot perfectly prepare and ride out the whole thing unscathed.

As a licensed Certified Financial Planner (CFP) for nearly 20 years with an MBA oriented to Finance, my answer is couched in good planning practices vis-a-vis risk. I won't answer what I am doing personally.

There are 3 major groups by household financial assets.

A. modest income folks (most people in the USA struggling to get by)
B. middle income folks (have a good income but likely lots of debt too)
C. wealthy folks


For group A, their best preps would be to cut back on discretionary spending and obtain some real goods that will help them in a financial collapse. This includes some food stores, so that they can eat if retail stores are disrupted. If doesn't have to be expensive, since the food basics are not costly in bulk (some rice, beans, potatoes, veggies). Some who have the skills, will can veggies and fruit and have a storage that way.

Food, shelter and clothing are the bare basics (and water). If they have gardening area, then preparing it well and planting in 2012 is warranted, along with purchasing some heirloom seed packs. When they have the basics covered then maybe getting some silver coins of different types is a good choice, so that they have purchasing power in the future if the currency collapses (high or hyper inflation). However, real goods have always become barter items during an economic/financial crash, in every country.


For group B, they need to do the same things as group A, but with more assets and income, they can probably do a little more. Cut debt and lower spending ahead of time. Have some silver, and if they have higher assets maybe a few gold coins. With some saved assets, they can open a savings account in Norwegian Krona or Swiss Francs, to protect them from a dollar crash. There are a couple of Banks in the USA where one can do that. Norway has a surplus and saved national assets, so their Krona will almost certainly appreciate against crashing currencies. The Swiss Franc is a little less safe, but they have weathered wars OK as a neutral country, for many centuries, and were the currency refuge of choice.


Group C can do all the above, and likely also have a well-stocked refuge place far away from the high population centers. They can have gold and silver, and diversify some assets in safe currencies too. History tells us that most won't prepare, thinking their wealth will protect them, but it could disappear overnight (Bank crashes and stock market crashes and bond defaults). Just because someone is wealthy, it doesn't mean they have any more likelihood of coming through it OK if they don't prepare, as compared those in group A above who prepared as best they could given their modest capabilities.

In a currency crash/economic crash, real usable goods mean a lot and retain real value. The reason is that it is difficult to obtain them afterwards, even if one has a pile of gold or silver. These are storage foods, soap, sewing kits, heirloom seeds, guns, ammo, etc. Silver coins can be pre-1965 US dimes, quarters, halfs, etc. which contain about 715 ounces of silver per $1000 face value. One doesn't have to buy $1000 face value bags, they are sold in small amounts too, especially at coin shops. Those will be readily accepted during a crash, and a little less, the common silver 1 oz coins sold by the US, Canadian or Mexican government.

The thing to remember, is that during a crash, it is likely that there will be a Bank holiday declared by the president. During that time, the Banks will be closed and ATMs likely will not work. Therefore, having a modest amount of cash on hand is prudent. When the banks reopen after a week or two, generally the country's leader declares a devaluation of the currency (say 40 or 50%). Suddenly all money in the Bank buys less real goods, and many foreign made goods become very expensive. A 50% devaluation makes a person poorer, and therefore it argues against having large amounts of cash in hand at your home during the Bank holiday. It will be devalued. However, one can spend it during the Bank holiday buying essentials if possible, before they skyrocket in price. Cash is not king during a financial crash or hyperinflation. Rather, real usable goods are king.

So...the above is generally what I would counsel people. Of course one can be even more specific, but that specificity is by the individual, since each person and family differs on what is good for them.

Any of Group A, B, or C could also think about friends and relatives in rural areas, they might go to if they had to bail out of their home in the city. For some this is a possible option, and for many others, it is not an option. If so, then they will need to work with their neighbors to safeguard their little area in the city or suburb/subdivision.

Even very modest preps done beforehand, when things are available and inexpensive, will serve anyone well.

All that said, trust in God our Father and ask Him for guidance and help now,and when the crash comes. There are promises in the Bible about God's people prospering even when the world system is crashing around them. We should strive to be in that group of "God's people", whose hope and trust is in the Lord. And not merely hoping but standing in prayer on specific promises in the Bible which is how God our Father wants us live.

On retrospect I would like to add that after the antichrist takes over the world at the 3.5 year point that no one will be able to buy or sell without taking the mark--better known as the great tribulation. Preparing for that time would require much more extensive preparations than just preparing for a financial collapse.

Another "Line" Judgment--The Southeast Storms

On Nov 16, 2011 our country experienced another round of devestating storms, our prayers are with those effected. If you notice the tornadoes, marked in red above, they are situated parallel to and on both sides of the line of judgment that I believe runs from the United Nations HQ in NYC to the National Christmas tree in Washington, D.C. that I wrote the following about;

I do not know the where, when, and what of the next judgments, but I do know the why--we have sinned. I also have a sense--based on what I have been shown and knowing what we are planning to do to Israel, that the judgment will be severe, it will be related to "the line," and it may be soon.

Some may think the southeast storms occuring along this line is just coinciodence. Well let me point out a few facts. First these tornadoes were unusual for this time of year--less than 4% of the tornadoes in the United States since the 1950s have occured in November. Second there was another unusual waether event just recently--the freak snowstorm--that left millions without power. Both of these out of the ordinary weather events occured parallel to the "line." You be the judge.

It is believed by many that the Great Pyramid complex at Giza in its design contains time markers or date ciphers pointing to the First and Second coming of the Lord. There are two scriptures that are the basis for this conjecture.

In that day shall there be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the Lord. And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the Lord because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them. Isaiah 19: 19,20

Which hast set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even unto this day… Jeremiah 32:20a

Prophecy researcher Daniel Matson has made some startling discoveries regarding the date ciphers of the Great Pyramid complex at Giza. In Chapter 16 of his book, Signs of the End he states;

What is important is that there is valuable information that must be passed along that is a striking discovery concerning the Great Pyramid complex at Giza and its marking both advents of Christ. It is a discovery that is in line with the Bible, history, and the magnificence of the pyramids. It highlights the time in precise astronomical alignments. It is a discovery that fits the themes woven into the Bible concerning the coming King and it further supports the scenario developed in this book.

 

Thus his research has led him to believe that the Great Pyramid complex at Giza astronomically aligned with the First coming of the Lord, and he believes it will also at His Second Coming, and the alignment points to Rosh Hashanah 2017. What leads the author to this conclusion?

The basic idea is that the pyramid complex is a map of the heavens of a point in time when Christ the King returns with his armies. The pyramids show what is to be at meridian (Al Nitak in Orion), and also the causeways heading east from the pyramids show the importance of the rising sun or other items rising in the east. That the Sphinx also looks to the east is a factor as well. The point though was to see when there was a candidate for an alignment of Rosh Hashanah and the meridian alignment of Orion at dawn...Therefore, at dawn the morning before the Feast of Trumpets 2017, Al Nitak is precisely at meridian…

Let us not forget the all-important Christ angle to see where it might come into significance. At the moment Al Nitak is at meridian, Leo is in the east, but more importantly its star known as Regulus (the King) is precisely at the inclination of the Christ angle. Therefore, the Christ angle not only bisected Bethlehem at Christ’s birth, but it also bisects Regulus at this possible time of his Second Coming. The year 2017 is the first year from present that Rosh Hashanah comes immediately after September 20th—the time Al Nitak hits meridian precisely at dawn, and also when Regulus hits the Christ angle… 

In analyzing the positioning of the stars, moon, and sun at the time of September 20, 2017, there was also another alignment. Venus will be in conjunction with Regulus at this time. So at this moment Venus the “Morning Star” will be aligned with the “King Star”, precisely at the Christ angle… 

The ascending and descending passageways of the Great Pyramid share the common Christ angle, but one is actually the prime of the other. Looking at the computer model of the sky when Regulus and Venus are at the Christ angle just prior to dawn, there is again something suspicious. Below the horizon is Jupiter--referred to as the planet of the Messiah by the Jews…At the dawn of Rosh Hashanah 2017, Jupiter is at the precise Christ angle in the opposite scenario as the day before. Jupiter is below the horizon at 26.3 degrees… 

So as there are opposite Christ angles, it would appear that the pyramid is a map of this event.  Jupiter is the suffering Messiah at the descending angle, whereas the “morning star” and glorious king are on the ascending angle.  Therefore, the Great Pyramid would be a map of this time when Rosh Hashanah coincides with the dawn meridian of Al Nitak and the positioning of Christ’s representative planets at the Christ angle.  What are the odds?  It would probably be safe to say that this is practically the only time these alignments could occur in our era… (Used by permission of author. As already mentioned these many significant alignments lead him to believe that the First Coming was marked by the celestial alignment of the Great Pyramid, and that events surrounding the Second Coming will be marked by the celestial alignments on Rosh Hashanah in 2017. I contend that the alignment at Rosh Hashanah in 2017 is a significant occurrence and will align with or be a sign of pending important end times events. Is this why the pyramids were built, and have withstood throughout time? Are they a “sign and witness” of events surrounding the First and Second Coming of the Lord?

What about 2012?

There is a lot of chatter and interest in 2012 as being the date for the end of the world. This thinking has arisen from the ancient traditions of various cultures. The most famous of those traditions is the Mayan calendar, which predicts “the world will end” on Dec 21, 2012. Should this prediction be taken seriously and if so how does this prediction fit into Biblical prophecy? First let’s look more closely at the prediction. Here are a few quotes from various 2012 websites.

The Mayans believed the universal processes, like the 'breathing' of the galaxy, are cycles that never change. What changes is the consciousness of man that passes through it. Always in a process toward more perfection. Based on their observations, the Mayans predicted that from the initial date of the start of their civilization, 4 Ahau, 8 Cumku which is 3113 B.C., after one cycle being completed 5,125 years in their future, December 21st, 2012. The Sun, having received a powerful ray of synchronizing light from the center of the galaxy, would change its polarity which would produce a great cosmic event that would propel human kind to be ready to cross into a new era, The Golden Age. Although Dec 21, 2012 is the date of the end of the age in the Mayan calendar it does not mean anything spectacular is going to happen on that exact date. The Mayan elders say the calendar foretells Earth changes and changes in consciousness AND that they occur within a seven-year period of time around 2012…What is the biggest change in this seven years? A magnetic pole shift followed shortly by a physical pole shift. A physical pole shift is what destroyed Atlantis 13,000 years ago. Similarly, this would be a “big deal” today. Certainly it would qualify as Yogananda’s “you have no idea what a catastrophe is coming” event. According to many earth legends, such beings are supposed to return regularly, at the beginning and end of each time cycle, the 13,000 year half-point of our solar system's 26,000 year zodiacal orbit around galaxy centre. Because of conditions on our galactic orbit, these 13,000 year intervals or "worlds", seem to be separated by cataclysmic upheaval. There are various interpretations regarding the meaning of the 2012 date but as you see most agree that the old world will end and a new world will begin. Some also believe that around that date there will be many physical distresses upon the earth. Some even believe aliens, which we know to be demons, will return. Coinciding with the predictions from ancient cultures regarding 2012 are the predictions regarding Nibiru or planet x. Here is a sampling of some of the various information regarding the supposed planet x.

I contend that there's simply too much evidence that those who could and probably do know are preparing for a visit from Nibiru or Planet X in 2012 and most importantly February 21, 2013 when Nibiru will be at it's closest distance from the sun (2.85 AU). Worst of all that scenario puts planet earth between this brown dwarf and the Sun There will be amazing sprites and other such catastrophic events too numerous to count.

Nibiru will first be seen by May 2009 as a faint reddish object. It will be moving up from below Earths Orbit. This means that until late 2009, the only way to see it is from a very southern location of Earth. By May of 2011, naked eye viewing by everyone. In December 2012 Nibiru will pass through the ecliptic plane, seen as bright star & will look as a 2nd sun around the size of our moon. Earthquakes and very bad weather will take place! In responding to these ideas from a Biblical perspective we must realize that the Mayan religion was satanic and that their prediction most likely had satanic origins. Therefore, as all satanic predictions go, some may be true and some may be false. Also the information regarding Nibiru or planet x and the predicted calamities and pole shift at this point in time is hard to prove one way or the other. Are these predictions correct, will the world end in 2012? Most Christians consider the end of the world to regard the return of Jesus Christ to the earth at Armageddon. For the world to end in 2012 or the return of Christ at Armageddon to occur in 2012, that would have required the 70th Week to have begun in 2006, which did not occur. Thus we can say that the Biblical "end of the world" will not occur in 2012.

A Message for America

As I was reading my Bible today I randomly turned to Isaiah 47. I felt impressed of the Lord that this is a message for America that He wanted me to share at this time.

1. Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate.

2. Take the millstones, and grind meal: uncover thy locks, make bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers.

3. Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet thee as a man.

4. As for our redeemer, the LORD of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel.

5. Sit thou silent, and get thee into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called, The lady of kingdoms.

6. I was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke.

7. And thou saidst, I shall be a lady for ever: so that thou didst not lay these things to thy heart, neither didst remember the latter end of it.

8. Therefore hear now this, thou that art given to pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:

13. Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.

14. Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it.

15. Thus shall they be unto thee with whom thou hast laboured, even thy merchants, from thy youth: they shall wander every one to his quarter; none shall save thee.

I believe that this passage is a double fulfillment passage, it was first partially fulfilled with ancient Babylon and will be finally fulfilled with the End Times Babylon--America.
