Go to Church
by William Frederick, M. Div.
I praise God that I have been able to attend and be a part of the ministry of a Bible believing, Bible preaching church. I also praise God for a godly pastor who faithfully preaches and teaches God’s Word, and has not allowed his church to drift into worldliness as so many churches have.
I am amazed at how many Christians do not attend church on a regular basis. They cite various reasons, too numerous to mention. Here is what God says about this;
Hebrews 10:25
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
I have seen it many times over, where a Christian drops out of church, and then their life goes down hill, even to the point of ruin and destruction.
Look, No church is perfect, but find the best one that you can in your area, and go to it. You may not agree with everything they do, but as long as they are not preaching heretical doctrines then go to it. You need to be in fellowship with other believers, you need to be under the preaching of Gods Word, “and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”
If there are no good churches near you then, drive to the nearest one, or move. And if you cannot do that then at least access one by internet—but that is not optimal.
Bottom line; going to church is one of the keys to a successful Christian life, “and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”
Go to church.
