Most People Miss This in Matthew 24; Did You?

Matthew 24 lays out a clear picture of a chronology of events that will occur in the end times. I think it would behoove us to take a look at this passage and see what important truth it reveals about an end times chronology. BTW; most people miss this important truth.

1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

As we just read the apostles posed the following questions to Jesus;

1.   When shall these things be (the throwing down of all the stones of the Temple)?

2.   What shall be the sign of thy coming?

3.   What shall be the sign of the end of the world?

Jesus then proceeds to answer their questions in the following way.

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. Mt 24

The first thing Jesus tells them is that false Christs will arise, and there will be wars, famines, pestilences, and earthquakes. If we look to the book of Revelation we see these same events described in the first 4 Seals—the four horsemen of the Apocalypse.

1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.

4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.

6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.

8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. Rev 6

Take note that Jesus called these first 4 Seals, sorrows. Now this is what He says will happen next.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. Mt 24

Here Jesus tells us that after the first 4 Seals, which He calls sorrows, that a great persecution will arise, then the gospel will be preached to the entire world, and then the end will come. Jesus further elaborates on the persecution in the verses that follow.

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. Mt 24

Jesus clearly and succinctly tells us that the persecution, which He calls the great tribulation, will come after the abomination of desolation occurs. This great persecution is mirrored in Revelation chapter 6 with the opening of Seal 5.

9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. Rev 6

There is more discourse in Matthew 24 about the persecution and deception of that time, and then starting in v. 29 Jesus says this will happen immediately after the persecution, which He calls great tribulation.

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Mt 24

That is the RAPTURE!!! Immediately after the great tribulation, which follows the abomination of desolation, Jesus will appear in the sky for the entire world to see and the saints will be gathered together unto him at the rapture. Notice also what Jesus says will happen at the rapture, He says that the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

These exact events are described in Revelation 6 after the opening of Seal 6.

12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Rev 6

Therefore Jesus succinctly tells us that after the abomination of desolation and immediately after the Seal 5 great tribulation that the Seal 6 rapture event will occur. This is further supported by the fact that in the Revelation 6 passage the people of the Earth say “hide us from the face.” They say that because they see Jesus in the clouds at the rapture event.

Thus a literal interpretation of Matthew 24 clearly tells us that the sorrows of Seals 1-4 will be followed by the abomination of desolation, which in turn will be followed by the great tribulation persecution. And after the great tribulation Jesus comes to rescue Christians after He appears in the sky after the opening of Seal 6 as depicted in the charts from The Coming Epiphany prophecy book. This is the truth that most people miss in Matthew 24—the Seal 6 rapture timing.

Now the question is; why do many still not believe that the rapture will not happen until Seal 6 is opened? Let’s take heed to the rest of what Jesus tells us in Matthew 24.

32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:


33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Mt 24

Are you ready for the return of the Lord? Are you spiritually, mentally, and physically prepared to live through Seals 1 to 5?

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Luke 21:36

Prophecy Alert: Nibiru Large Earthquake Watch; 12/2/19 to 12/16/19 *(11/29/19 to 12/19/19)* Cascadia in the Crosshairs!? Updated

Large earthquakes have been occurring in a 47 day pattern. It has been theorized that this 47 day pattern of earthquakes, which matches the reported 47 day orbital period of Nibiru, is being caused by Nibiru’s approach. For the data that leads to this conclusion see the post: Beware of the Nibiru 47 Day Large Earthquake Cycle.

The next watch period in the 47 day pattern centers on 12/9/19 and runs from 12/2/19 to 12/16/19. (Note as Nibiru gets closer  and its influence gets stronger, the watch period may need to be extended to +-10 days. For this watch period that would be 11/29/19 to 12/19/19)

This particular 47 day pattern in December of 2019 is also part of the overall 188 day earth-sun-nibiru alignment pattern. Therefore this watch period has the potential for greater earthquakes.

In light of the information above it looks as if the Nibiru large earthquake watch period from 12/2/19 to 12/16/19 *(11/29/19 to 12/19/19)* bears watching. 

Some do not believe in Nibiru, let alone that it can cause earthquakes, but there are a growing number of scientists who indeed believe in Nibiru, and that it can cause earthquakes.

One of the first scientific announcements about Nibiru or Planet X was made by Dr. Robert Harrington of the U.S. Naval Observatory in 1990.

Over the years the list of scientists who believe in Nibiru has grown. Here is one such scientist that can be added to the list that was featured in a post at The Big The One.

Nibiru is a comet planet, which, roughly, is seven times larger than the Earth.  She has a monstrous magnetic field.  It extends to 47 astronomical units and is at least 200 times larger than the Earth’s magnetic field.  And that all we know about her is that Nibiru is a cosmic riddle that challenges all the laws of physics.

Most likely, Nibiru is a very dense body, the surface temperature of which does not exceed 40 degrees.  It is surrounded by a thick layer of magnetic iron oxides that absorb sunlight.  Now Nibiru is located at a distance of 4 astronomical units and is only visible occasionally - when passing by massive planets whose magnetic field causes disturbances in the cloud surrounding Nibiru.

In turn, this cloud causes disturbances throughout the solar system, manifested in the form of surges in the magnetic field, volcanic activity and earthquakes.  However, around all this there is a conspiracy surrounding real data like a cloud of dark debris surrounding Nibiru itself. 

Unfortunately, we do not know and cannot find out the exact statistics of the periods of the collapse of the fields, and no one will tell us the long-known date of arrival.  We see only the manipulation of the amplitudes of planetary seismic activity...

Gentlemen, while we are surrounded by a media war and data blocking, we will still encounter this arrival sooner or later.  Astronomical laws are very simple. 


I already mentioned in earlier diagrams that Jupiter is now catching up with the more distant Saturn, and both of them are located approximately in the area of ​​the constellation Sagittarius.  When these two large planets line up in relation to us in one line, the Nibiru system between us should be visible even with simple binoculars.

Gentlemen, even NASA consultant and former president of the US Geological Survey, Dr. Eitan Trowbridge, warn that time is running out - the arrival is close.  Trowbridge is currently providing compelling evidence of abnormal climate change, the intensity of hurricanes and numerous earthquakes and volcanoes.

And this is a sign that Nibiru is at the door, forcing elites who know the true time of arrival to climb underground.  And only a few honest scientists challenge the elites, trying to convey information to people so that they take at least some precautionary measures.

So we can add another scientist to the list who believes in Nibiru, and that it can cause earthquakes. The scientist mentioned that he believes that Nibiru will become visible with binoculars when Saturn and Jupiter align. And when do Staurn and Jupiter align? 12/20/2020

And when might Nibiru be closest to earth? According to this report 2023-2024.

Will we see large Nibiru induced earthquakes from 12/2/19 to 12/16/19 *(11/29/19 to 12/19/19)*? I do not know, I do not make predictions, I only issue watches. But I can tell you for sure that large earthquakes are coming during the last 7 years—the end times—because God tells us in The Bible that they will occur.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. Mt 24:7

And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;… and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. Rev 6:12, 14b

And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. Rev 11:13

18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. Rev 16:18-20

So as we approach and progress through the end times the earthquakes will grow in frequency and magnitude to the point where eventually every island and mountain will be gone! The data seems to be indicating that one of those large earthquakes may occur in the upcoming Nibiru earthquake watch period from 12/2/19 to 12/16/19 *(11/29/19 to 12/19/19)* We watch.

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Luke 21:36

No One Knows the Day or Hour of What?

Have you heard that before; “no one knows the day or hour.” But what is it referring to; no one knows the day or hour of what?

Let’s examine the passages and then we will answer the question. 

Matthew 24:36

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Matthew 24:50

The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

Matthew 25:13

Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Mark 13:32

But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

In reading the passages in context, it is easy to see that Jesus clearly taught that no one knows the day or hour of His return.  But what return is He referring to; His return to the clouds at the rapture, or His return to the earth at Armageddon?

Let’s look at the Matthew passage in context, and the answer is easily seen.

36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Again, it is easy to see that Jesus is referring to the rapture when He says no one knows the day or hour—one taken, the other left. This is a truth that I readily affirm and teach; no one knows the day or hour of Christ’s return to the clouds at the rapture.

So if Jesus was referring to the rapture when He said no one knows the day or hour of His return, can we know the day of his second coming at Armageddon at the end of the 7 years?

Yes; absolutely! Think about it; we know that the antichrist takes over the world at the midpoint of the last 7 years. So when that occurs we will know that the Second Coming at Armageddon will occur 3.5 years later. Then all who see the antichrist take over the world can know that Armageddon will be 3.5 years later, and thus all will know the date of the Second Coming of the Lord.

Further if you apply end times parameters, such as the fulfilling of the fall feasts, and that they will align with Second Coming events, one can further conjecture a start date for the last 7 years. All the while, we will still not know the day or hour of Christ’s return at the rapture.  This, as we have already established, will occur at an unknown time after the midpoint and before the end.

Some Christians cannot understand this and label anyone who suggests a possible end times chronology as heretical. In The Coming Epiphany I present the following chart that suggests possible start and end dates for the last 7 years based on aligning Armageddon with the Feast of Trumpets.

Again; this chart aligns Armageddon with the Feast of Trumpets and thus presents possible dates for the start of the 70^th Week—the last 7 years.

 

Further there are several end times parameters that have manifested themselves in recent months, and if we apply those parameters the following three “most likely” scenarios are the result. For a full explanation of these scenarios see the post; Calculations for the "End of Days".

From the comments; here is a chart showing the parameters.

Again these are hypothetical most likely scenarios. When we see the Seals opened we will know for sure that we are in the last 7 years.  And when we see the antichrist take over the world we will know that Armageddon will be 1260 days or 42 months, or 3.5 years later. And at the same time we will still not know the day or hour of Jesus’s return, because he will return at an unknown time between the midpoint and Armageddon after the Sixth Seal is opened. BTW; Jesus CANNOT come back today! If you do not believe me, maybe you will believe the church fathers; What the Church Fathers Taught About the antichrist and the Rapture
 
No one knows the day or hour of the rapture, but at some point in time we will know the day and hour of Christ’s second coming at Armageddon.

 

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Luke 21:36
