Awake O Thou Sleeper And Embrace The Sign

I am amazed at how many Christians are asleep when it comes to current end times prophecy events. Case in point, I was talking with a Christian the other day and he had no idea that the Revelation 12 sign was going to occur on September 23, 2017. 

Here is a good Christian who has been in church most of his life and he had no clue about this monumental prophetic happening—he had no clue and he is not alone! Why; why didn’t he and probably millions of other Christians have any clue about these developments?

For one; it is because most Christians have been lulled to sleep by the pre-tribulation rapture theory. They falsely believe that one day, before anything bad happens, they will just vanish. So I would surmise that they feel no need to watch prophetic events and signs even though God has clearly told us there would be signs in the heavens, and to watch.

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: Gen 1:14

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Luke 21:36

Second; it is because most pastors will not touch these topics with a ten foot pole, thus the flock is left totally out in the dark when it comes to these matters. It is the pastor’s job to educate the flock and make sure that they are aware of prophetically important topics and current events, but most have failed to even mention any.

And why won’t most pastors speak about these things? Again it is most likely because they have been beguiled by the false pre-tribulation rapture theory. Take for example the sign of the woman clothed with the sun. Have you heard a message about it at your church? I would surmise probably not. Why?

It is because they cannot preach about it; first off they might not even know about. That is funny even the high priestess Beyonce knows about it. I wonder who she is signaling will show up after the sign appears.

And even if they know about it, they probably will not discuss it, because anyone who reads the passage in Revelation 12 can clearly see that after the sign the antichrist and his minions start their work which includes the persecution of Jews and Christians.

1. And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Rev 12

This fact plays havoc with their pre-tribulation belief. The pre-trib belief says the rapture happens before the antichrist starts his work. So the passage conflicts with their theory. They are like a deer in the headlights not knowing what to do and will soon be run over by the reality of the sign and its prophetic significance.

What do you think is going to happen when the September 23, 2017 sign appears and then is followed, sometime thereafter, by the arising of the antichrist, and no rapture has occurred yet? What is going to happen to the flock? They will be confused and decimated and will realize that they are totally unprepared for what is about to transpire on the earth. Or they will be in total denial and create their own reality to rationalize the situation.

Listen O shepherds; your flock is asleep to essential end times truths and events and it is your job to awaken and educate them. The sign of the woman clothed with the sun will occur on 9/23/2017, the antichrist will arise sometime afterward, and the rapture will not occur until he has persecuted Jews and Christians.

Why won’t the rapture occur? Because the rapture is not pre-trib it is pre-wrath and I can prove it to you. 1. The rapture is the first event of a time period known as the Day of the Lord.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 1 Thes 4,5

2. The Day of the Lord begins after the Sun is darkened and the moon is turned to blood.

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come: Acts 2:20

3. The sun is darkened and the moon is turned to blood after seal 6 is opened.

And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; Rev 6:12

4. Therefore the Day of the Lord/Rapture happens after Seal 6 is opened. That is why the people of the earth go into hiding after Seal 6 has been opened, because they have seen the Lord Jesus appear in the sky.

And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: Rev 6:15,16

Why won't you believe?

The reality of a sixth seal rapture means that Christians need to be watching for and preparing for the events that precede it, namely Seals 1 to 5. Are you watching, have you prepared?

I would say that over 90% of Christians are not watching and have not prepared. And whose fault is it? Again, I put most of the blame on the pastors who have not studied God’s Word enough to see the validity of a sixth seal rapture and or are not willing to stand up for the truth of God’s Word and preach it like it is, regardless of the consequences.

I know some pastors may scoff at this, but after you see the antichrist arise and there has been no rapture yet, just remember what I told you. Unfortunately by then it will probably be too late.

And what happens when the shepherds do not feed the flock? The flock is decimated.

1 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

2 Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

3 Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock.

4 The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them.

5 And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.

6 My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.

7 Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the Lord;

8 As I live, saith the Lord God, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;

9 Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the Lord;

10 Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them. Ez 34.

The sign of the woman clothed with the sun shone in the sky at the time of Christ’s first advent. The religious folk of the day missed it, but the wise men embraced it. Wake up O thou sleeper! The Revelation 12 sign of the woman clothed with the sun will be blazing in the heavens again on September 23, 2017. Do not be blinded by the light of this sign but embrace it, and let its light guide you like it did the wise men.

Awake O thou sleeper and embrace the sign!
