God's Wrath Is When!?

Many Christians believe that the rapture will occur before God’s wrath is poured out upon the earth. This is absolutely correct, the rapture will occur before God’s wrath is poured out upon the earth and its inhabitants. This fact is clearly taught in scripture and illustrated in the example of Noah’s flood.

For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 1 Thes 5:9

They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Luke 17:27

Thus it is a clear principle of scripture that God will not allow the righteous to be subject to His wrath. And thus during the end times Christians will be raptured before God’s wrath is poured out.

Now the question is; during the end times, when does God’s wrath start? Most say at the opening of Seal 1. But what does God say? God specifically tells us when the great day of His wrath begins.

For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Rev 6:17

That’s right; in Rev 6:17 God specifically tells us that the great day of His wrath begins after the opening of Seal 6. And it is also at that very moment that God tells us the entire world will see Jesus in the clouds, which is a perfect description of the rapture, at which people flee in fear.

12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Rev 6

Thus God clearly tells us His wrath starts after the rapture and the opening of Seal 6. Now the question is; why don’t many Christians believe this?

There are many reasons. For one, as already mentioned, many Christians believe Seals 1-5 are part of God’s wrath. I contend that Seals 1-5 are not part of God’s wrath because God’s wrath starts at Seal 6 and furthermore if you think about, Seals 1-5 are only actions of evil forces which God permits to occur. Here is a quick summary.

Seal 1: World takeover—there have been several world kingdoms in the past. In fact several are listed in scripture and detailed in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream.

Seal 2: World War—there have already been 2 of these.

Seal 3: Financial collapse—there have been many of these, the last being the Great Depression.

Seal 4: Pandemic—there have been many of these in history. One memorable one was the Bubonic plague.

Seal 5: Persecution of Jews and Christians—has happened in the past many times.

All of the above are actions of evil forces and are permitted by God. It is the devil that will be orchestrating these events for the purpose of taking over the world and trying to destroy God’s remnant. These are not part of God’s wrath. Could God’s wrath include persecuting His own children during Seal 5? NO! Therefore Seals 1-5 cannot be part of God’s wrath. God’s wrath starts after the opening of Seal 6 and the rapture, at which time the people of the earth see the Lord in the sky.

Another reason why Christians do not want to believe the rapture occurs after the opening of Seal 6 is because they are afraid of what other Christians will think of them. In some Christian circles those who do not believe in a Pre-tribulation rapture theory are ridiculed, looked on as heretical, removed from leadership and or teaching positions, etc. In some cases you cannot even be hired by a Christian ministry if you do not believe in a pretrib theory.

I was personally faced with this conflict but I determined that it was more important to be pleasing to God and true to His Word than to be pleasing to man.

Here it is in a nutshell; Seal 6—rapture—God’s wrath begins. The only question that remains is when are you going to believe this? Now, so you can prepare for the Seals, or after you see the Seals opened, when it is too late to prepare?

There is much scriptural evidence to support the theory that God’s wrath and the rapture occur after the opening of Seal 6, and in fact it can be proven. The scriptural evidence is presented in The Coming Epiphany—FREE Download.

Do you want to be included in the rapture? Read a short message entitled God’s Gift of Salvation to find out how.

  1. William- This excellent article of yours took my hard to sell mentality a few years of intense Bible study to come to your same conclusion. I was raised in a pretrib believing church, but the pieces just never fit for me. My life made a turning point while observing a Venus/Jupiter conjunction a couple years ago. Not an earth shattering event by no means, but this made me say the most heartfelt prayer ever coming out of me. I tearfully asked God to show me signs in the heavens as Genesis 1:14 proclaimed. That night I read Revelation 12. Never had read this and being an astronomy enthusiast, this looked like a constellation playing out in the heavens. I was overwhelmed with what I was finding, then ordered your Epiphany book. Again, my hard to sell brain learned a lot by verifying for myself biblically what you were saying. To that I thank you so much , as I forever dig in my Bible as it verifies much of what you say. I never thought I would come to looking forward everyday studying in my Bible, when ....this is an embarrassing but brutally honest confession...for decades I would pick up my Bible once a year...usually after 2 years, try to understand it, only to disgustingly and flippingly toss it back on the night stand with an attitude of....If God wants me to understand it, he will make me understand."

    I had to willingly and prayfully desire this understanding. I can honestly say this was my first prayer that was definitely answered.

    1. Amen, and thanks for sharing that testimony with us. God is so great and loves us very much may we all grow closer to Him each and every day till we see Him in the sky.

  2. I'm not sure WW1 and WW2 killed 1/4 of the population, also WW2 brought most countries out of the Great Depression which makes no sense if the Red horse precedes the Black one.

    1. The Seals have not occurred yet, the above were only examples of types of events that will be similar to the Seals illustrating that these events are actions of evil forces and no God's wrath.

  3. I was also brought up in a pre-trib church, with my father being the one preaching the pre-tribulation part of it.
    Later, 20 years or so ago, we both started studying this on our own, but together, time-wise.
    We both concluded the same thing, after the 6th Seal is when God pours out His Wrath, not before.

    Christians will go through much of the Tribulation and most will be cannon fodder for Christ because of a belief in an heretical teaching!
    Matt 24:29,30 "Immediately after the Tribulation, then the Sign of the Son of Man will appear in the heavens...then will the see the coming of the Son of Man in the clouds with power and great glory!

    1. Amen and thanks for your testimony. It was after 911 that I fell to my knees and asked God to open my eyes in regards to the end times. It was shortly thereafter that I clearly saw the Seal 6 rapture. Now I see it as such an obvious fact that I wonder why it took me 20 years to see it.

    2. Amen! to this. <= Re: "Michael T. Gutwein - November 29, 2016 at 1:03 PM"

      Thank you so much Sir Frederick and all brothers and sisters in Christ our Lord,

      I have been thoroughly and intensely researching the world stage and God's word for slightly more than ten years now. I found your book "the coming epiphany" nearly four years ago, and I eagerly read the whole thing through (I get kinda fascinated discovering new and additional insights of things I have strong interest in), and I often reread some parts of your book, aswell in combination with many other texts, and it really gave me an intense increase in understanding and grasping the more deeply existing substance of this world and God's way and plan for us.

      I'm so grateful to the Lord for giving the holy spirit to lots of us fallen beings, making us anew and making us even become a guiding light for lots of the still lost or the currently searching (like we aswell were at the beginning of our journey), in spite of our tremendous failures and our evil deeds, past - present - and future.

      And so, I pray, that he continues to provide his solid support and his powerful blessings to each and every of his children, so that we shall grow more and more in (and by) his word and towards his way, that it'd be a blessing for ourselves, our own salvation and renewal, and no less importantly for that it'd be a blessing for the people around us, and that it'd be to his glory.

      I proclaim, we shall stand firm in all coming troubles, the private aswell as the worldwide, by the strength of his support, so help us our Lord and Saviour.

      This reminded me of the following verses, which for me often have been an important affirmation and encouragement:

      "10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."
      - Ephesians 6:10-17, King James Bible.

      There's lots, and too much to even express in quantities, which the Lord has given me, and I have been miserable and profoundly evil towards lots of things and lots of people. And too often still am, but he has set me free of many wicked bonds, more and more, and evermore.

      I'm deeply grateful for the light his children bring into this dark world, as by these just tiny reflections of him into our realm, I had been given the blissful chance to find him,

      Glory to our Lord and Saviour!

    3. Thank you for sharing, you have encouraged me in the work of the Lord. As you have reminded us the more I learn of God the more unworthy I feel, and then I remember that Jesus is part of me and God loves me!

      We are definitely going to need our armor in the coming days, for the battle is going to get hot.
