Rabbi Judah Ben Samuel Prophecy

From The Coming Epiphany, Chapter 12.

Rabbi Judah Ben Samuel Prophecy
The following is the write up of a prophecy made by Rabbi Judah Ben Samuel that I believe is significant in regards to answering the question when, and may point to a possible year of the Second Coming. The original article appeared in Israel Today, March 2008[1]

In 1217 the Jewish Rabbi Judah Ben Samuel prophesied that the Ottoman Turks would rule over the holy city of Jerusalem for eight Jubilees. A Jubilee is a period of 50 years according to Leviticus 25:8-13. Eight Jubilees would then be 400 years. Sure enough, 300 years later in 1517 the Ottoman Turks seized control of the city of Jerusalem and ruled over it for the next 400 years. They were finally driven out of the city and the holy land in 1917 by the Allied forces under the command of General George Allenby. The Rabbi's prophecy about the 400 years was fulfilled exactly to the year.

The Rabbi had also prophesied that during the ninth Jubilee Jerusalem would be a "no-man's land." This is exactly what happened from 1917 to 1967, due to the fact that the holy land was placed under British Mandate in 1917 by the League of Nations and literally "belonged" to no nation. Even after Israel's war of independence in 1948-49 Jerusalem was still divided by a strip of land running right through the heart of the city, with Jordan controlling the eastern part of the city and Israel controlling the western part of the city. That strip of land was considered and even called "no-man's land" by both the Israelis and the Jordanians. Anyone even stepping into that strip would be shot down. I lived during that period of time and well remember the reports in the newspapers and shown on TV about the division of Jerusalem. It was not until the Six Day War in 1967 when the entire west bank of the holy land was conquered by the Israeli army that the whole city of Jerusalem passed back into the possession of Israel. So once again the prophecy made by the Rabbi 750 years previously was fulfilled to the letter.

But that is still not the end of the matter. The Rabbi also prophesied that during the 10th Jubilee Jerusalem would be under the control of the Jews and the Messianic "end times" would begin. The 10th Jubilee began in 1967 and will be concluded in 2017.[2]

Let's consider the data;
Jubilees 1-8 (1517 to 1917): Turks will rule.
Jubilee 9 (1917 to 1967): Jerusalem a “no man’s land.”
Jubilee 10 (1967 to 2017): Jerusalem under Jewish control, Messianic end times will begin.
Jubilee 11: Begins at Yom Kippur 9/30/17.

Jubilees 1-8 and 9 were fulfilled as his prophecy stated. His prophecy also states “during the 10th Jubilee Jerusalem would be under the control of the Jews and the Messianic "end times" would begin.” Therefore if the prophecy is to be trusted, then the Messianic “end times” would have to start within the time of the 10th jubilee, before the 11th Jubilee starts at Yom Kippur on 9/30/17. Thus if the Messianic “end times” refers to the beginning of the 70th Week, then the prophecy implies the Second Coming will be no later than 2024. If the Messianic “end times” refers to Jacob’s trouble—the second half of the 70th Week—then the prophecy implies the Second Coming will be no later than 2021.

Genealogical there are two versions, and if one should believe, that the Holy bible is truth, than we are talking about two different stories and two different Jesus.
The Talmud even talks about a third Jesus, who lived 100 years B.C.
Do you believe that Jesus is comming back to earth in blood, flesh and bone?

God said that the Bible was God breathed--2 Tim 3:16. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

    2. the bible is the most accurate account of prophetic writings ever to be compiled. You can do the math on the when Jesus would enter the gates of Jerusalem and come up with what is to believed to be the date of the first palm Sunday. It told of Babylon falling to the meads and persions, Alexander the great defeating them, and then his kingdom being split four ways it did when Alexander died his kingdom was decided among his 4 generals. Then there is Israel the bible predicted that it would be a nation again in and it did also this you can do the math on and the bible predicted this would happen in 1948 and it did. And you mock this book... It give future predictions and applying the past track record me and my house will follow the lord. Jesus of the bible which i have read all the gosples and i assure you it is the same Jesus all these accounts just give an incredible detail of the facts. Jesus also tells you where you will spend eternity. I would mock this book with caution my friend.

  9. It would be difficult to believe that events would all of sudden occur from nowhere or nothing. As a result, we can see pieces leading to the potential fulfillment with some judgment upon America.

We believe the answer to when America’s judgment will come down is based on her Sham’tahoo (years of release or judgment) that once brought blessing but the starting of three Sham’tahoo things changed drastically.

The first cursing Sh’mitah came in September 2001 when it seemed HaShem removed His protection from us and the infamous 9-11 resulted. There was some repentance by people but as time moved forward the concept of revenge or punishment seemed to have taken over. Then seven years later the stock market crumbled beneath the sub prime debacle (Sept, 2008).

Again, we should have repented and made a return but now we see our choices of Trump and Clinton are today’s answers to the growing divide.

HaShem struck our nation’s security, or “fortress” making it laughable during 9-11, even our so-called success have become mammoth failures even before that day: Vietnam, Korea, Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Iran to name a few. Terrorists further undermine our technology by operating beneath the radar and multiplying through common hatred over our arrogance.

Then HaShem struck our economy, a strike we still haven’t fully recovered. Congress only increased the dispensary between wages through government shut downs over politics. From the last seven years America has seen massive fires and painful droughts, and major storms that cripple cities. Besides a few crying out here and there, have we as a nation truly repented and returned??

We believe America is an extension of God’s people; therefore, we are held accountable as Judah has been. So although everything may not align to the Hebrew calendar, there are times that appear to suggest a potential consistency. For example, the twin World Trade Center towers didn’t fall on Rosh Hashanah (Sept. 30, 2001), but on Sept. 11th 2001, or consider it was one years after Rosh Hashanah the previous year (Sept. 11th 2000). Likewise, the sub prime also came in September as did Rosh HaShanah the year before (Sept. 13, 2007).

So might judgment come Sept. 14, 2016 (one year later than Rosh Hashanah), or sometime during that week? This also would make September 11-14th America’s (or E’phrayim’s) Ninth of Av.

    Shalom,

    1. Thanks for the great analysis, I am specifically watching 9/7/16 as part of a 360 cycle of judgment, the days following also need watching.

      Delete
  10. Shalom William,

Indeed, that cycle cannot be ignored either. Nevertheless, did you know there appears to be another cycle that began in 1996 with a call for E'phrayim, or The Lost Tribes, to awaken and in 2006 where they would then faced “prison” that would last another ten years? Then 2016 begins the last ten year cycle (forming three complete years of ten) but this one Christ cuts to seven (Rev.8-9, 11) for the sake of the elect (Matt.24.22).

If none of this seems familiar, consider the story of Joseph. Unfortunately we need to break this response up to give a clear enough answer. So here is the first part:

Many see Christ as representing Joseph because Joseph means “He will add,” which Christ’s Gospel did add Gentiles to the Kingdom when once only Jews were numbered among the saved. They saw “Joseph” (and the prodigal son) go into slavery to the Gentile Egyptian then rose to second in power to Egypt’s leader (Constantine/Rome) before a famine came (the Shoah or Holocaust).

Joseph also had two sons by a Gentile priest’s daughter named As’enath. This seemed to foreshadow the Church’s coming to power and fully beginning her mission to the Gentiles. Through this mission she would birth two children: E’phrayim, and Manas’sah.

Each son name represents not only a part of Joseph’s life but also what happened as that Gospel went out. Manas’sah means “causing to forget” because Joseph said, “It is because God has made me forget all my troubles and all my father’s household.” Christ did this through the First Jerusalem Council when they removed the need for new believers to embrace the entire Jewish heritage (Acts 15 and Galatians). He further caused him to forget his Father’s house, Israel, when he divorced the church with her Jewish roots (Rom.11.25-32).

Then she had E’phrayim, which means “double fruit,” and he said, “It is because God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction.” Thus those three years of persecution and the years that would follow the body of Christ grew like wildfire. She drew in two fruits- a Gentile one and a Hebrew one (the Ten Tribes). Then a perfect number of years (seven, Rom.11.25, “the full number of the gentiles” compare to Gen.48.19) passed when the predicted famine of the word would come.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Shalom William,

    This is part II.

This famine also would affect Jacob (Jewish people) and would drive them to the Christian church for food. This came in the mid sixties when the ecumenical dialog opened up in response to the Holocaust (HaShoah). Not only Jews started talking but so did the Christian body.

Jacob sent his ten sons but not Benjamin (son of the right hand). Many think this is also Christ, but if Joseph is Christ then we suspect Benjamin is someone else. Also, Jacob sent his “ten sons” and there are ten lost tribes as well. Judah only has two full tribes, Judah’s descendants and Benjamin’s. So how did the house of Jacob send those ten tribes to the church to find food?

This again was that dialog and the fruit that resulted in it. Judah started sharing with the body of Christ as time went on about their traditions and noticed these in some Christian traditions. They also placed their Orthodox heritage online, where anyone could go study and learn about the Jewish traditions.

This leads us to 1996. For 2730 years those ten tribes were under Divine judgments as they were broken and ceased to be a people (Is.7.8). In 1996 a call went out from heaven awakening those tribes and telling them to learn who they really are (compare Rev.7.1 to Ez.37.18-19 and Is.28.11-13), and when they did, they hungered for Torah, the traditions, and unity with their brothers in Judah.

Yet, Joseph (or Christ) treated them badly. For two thousand years the church, unknown to many, created laws and rules that were in conflict to Jewish laws, the calendar being the most obvious. He did this by creating that separation. For two thousand years this served the church but now it was setting a stumbling block before those ten tribes.

For example, Good Friday sometimes fall during the Jewish Passover. Jews are required to have a feast between the evenings of Passover but Christians are required to fast, thus a direct conflict placed before Christians seeking to keep their Jewish traditions in Christ. If we could used a Jewish calendar instead of the Gregorian one, then Passover would never fall on Good Friday- no conflict.

    Next part III

    ReplyDelete
  12. Shalom William,

    This is the last part:

Now ten years after 1996, in 2006, these ten tribes faced judgment. This time it came from the Messianic movement and Judah. Remember those conflicts above? When Jews in Christ faced the conflicts above they kept the Christian way, and explained this was because they are made free of the Law in Christ. They said they were Jewish because their mothers were. Thus Jews could join Christ and remain Jews by genetic heritage but the Lost Tribes could not (a conflict with Matt 23:9).

So this is what the text seems to suggest when Joseph took Simeon (hearing) and placed him into prison, then sent those brothers back to Jacob to retrieve their youngest brother, and giving them gifts of grain. Thus, “hearing” went into prison in 2006, ten years after that call went out and the judgment came.

This fulfills Scripture in Rev.2.10. These ten years represent The Days of Awe (a Jewish tradition), which is similar to the Christian perspective of “the Dark Night of the Soul.” Psalm 23.4 also states:

“Even though I walk through the valley of death, I fear no evil, for Thou art with me, Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.”

This rejection of E’phrayim by Jews and Christian Jews forced them all into isolation. Only that call, the Lord’s rod (“be faithful unto death”, Rev.2.10), and His staff, (the Good Shepherd’s staff guidance or call), brought us comfort.

The Days of Awe is a time when judgment is forefront on our minds as we prepare our hearts. It begins with the books being opened (Rev. 20:12): The Book of Life, the Book of Those In-Between, and The Book of the Dead on Rosh HaShana (Head of The Year) or Yom Hakeseh (the day of concealment). This second name fits best for understanding this prison.

In Chapter 8 of Revelations, when that last seal is opened we read:

“There was silence in heaven for half a hour.”

The silence above is sige (4602) but does not limit the ability to speak, which would be siopao (4623). Rather, sige is more of a refusal to speak. This is the exact same silence that Christ experienced at Gethsemane when he left his disciples to pray, He met silence when He asked that that cup of Calvary be removed. He was met with sige, willful silence. So it is in this isolation these Lost Tribes will get willful silence, as Christ did. Hearing (Simeon) goes to a isolating and blinding prison and is told “stay awake” and be “faithful unto death” which leads to another foreshadowing from Christ’s walk in a Jewish belief:

"The world-fathers (patriarchs) will one day in the month of Nissan arise and say to (the Messiah): 'Ephraim, our righteous Anointed, although we are your grandparents, yet you are greater than we, for you have borne the sins of our children, as it says: 'But surely he has borne our sicknesses and carried our pains; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted. But he was pierced because of our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was laid upon him and through his wounds we are healed' (Isa.53.4-5)." (Pesiqta Rabbati (ca.845) on Is.61,0)

Those ten years which are about to end for E’phrayim was to prepare them for this cross. Those long ten years was their Gethsemane, any who endured those ten years will now be ready to step forth and sing that song in Revelation (Rev.7, and Rev.14). This will likely come as the Eagle/America cries out “woe, woe, woe”.

  13. Shalom everyone,

We noticed the day did not come as we expected on last years Rosh Hashanah as it did two Sham’tahoo ago (2001. 2008). HaShem, Praise be He, all knowing, all powerful, understands what He is doing. We, on the other hand, are going to be flawed in trying to understand the pieces given. For example, we saw a pattern that we posted previously but clearly nothing happen this third time. However trusting that He is consistent, there are reasons for time frames. And we perceive another possibly:

September 29th was that date of the beginning of last years Succos when we build succah and dwell within them for seven days (or briefly if it is cold, windy and raining). This is all that is left from last years time line. So we decided to study Succos (and the two holidays that come after it) looking for clues.

    Succos time line: Tishri 15 - Erev Succos (1st day); Tishri 16 - Succos Day 2 (Tashlich); Tishri 17 - Succos day 3; Tishri 18 - Succos Day 4; Tishri 19 - Succos Day 5; Tishri 20 - Succos Day 6; Tishri 21 - Hoshanah Rabbah (7th day); Tishri 22 - Shmenei Azaret; and Tishri 23 - Simchat Torah

Hoshana Rabbah stands out: This day is when the final Heavenly judgment on the amount of rainfall to insure bountiful harvests comes down. The seventh day of Succos, a half holiday, is marked by reciting the 'hosha-na' ("help us, we pray") prayers as worshipers carrying bundles willow branches (which grow along river banks) as they go seven times around the synagogue.

Rosh Hashanah this year, Tishri 1, starts third of October and falls during the dates above, Succos day 6. Tashlich falls the day after when we go to the river and throw away our sins (bread crumbs represent these). It falls on last years Hashanah Rabbah which also has us going to the river, this time to retrieve willow branches. Both holidays, there is a trip to the riverside.

Further, both deal with sin: Tashlich we are throwing away our sins (symbolically); Hashanah Rabbah is the last judgment because we did not throwing them literally and this one effects weather and harvests. A super volcano (first shofar or trumpet of Rev.8) would certainly effect the weather for years to come, and a tsunami (second shofar), our harvests (destroy water supply).

Regardless, even if we have that date wrong we feel we need to give a additional warning. Rev.8’s 1st sofar is a super volcano that blows in the west (we have 3 possible), this will be followed by an earthquake on the east coast that will level a mountain rang (and destroy a major city). When these two events occur then we will know the day has come for Trumpet II. So, whatever day, when that volcano explodes, that will give us that trumpet II is imminent.

Those along the east coast need to get into the Adirondack or Appellation Mountains before the second sofar, a tsunami of all tsunamis comes and its target is E’phrayim (west coast of Europe and the east coast of the USA and Canada, Jer.31.18-19, cf Jer.3.21-24). Notice where storms and flooding are happening. The Lord is preparing to make maximum impact with that second Sofar.

Those in the churches, synagogues and mosques and the government should help those too poor to move. There is no “waiting out” this trumpet. So once that volcano explodes then anyone not moved from the target area to those mountains when that 2nd shofar blows, will die. Also those reading this and being warn must pass this to as many others so that people can be saved.

  14. Shalom William,
You wrote: Thanks for the info, a super volcano eruption and east coast tsunami have been signaled and many have had dreams of the same. Thus I believe they are coming, but in the end times chronology it is too early for the trumpet judgments.

Interesting that you say, "many have had dreams of the same" as we also have dreams. Still, we do not believe it is too early for the trumpet judgments. We do see the ten years in “prison” (Rev.2.9-10) that should end somewhere in 2016. This is because those ten years of silence are found in Rev.8.1:

"When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour."

As we had already explained earlier, the word for silence above should be refusal to speak, which matches what our Lord faced at Gethsemane. In addition, this refusal to speak in Revelations took place for "half an hour," or hemiorion. Hemiorin comes from two roots- hermisu which means partition, thus "half" by implication, and hora which can mean "hour" but also “season” or “time.”

We favor half partition, or a partition of one season/time. It’s a partitioning point between one time and another, such as between the "Times of the Messiah" (from 70 CE to today) and coming Tribulation (those trumpets/bowls etc).

That willful silence occurred at, or during this partition, between those times. But when did the world reach a partition during the Messianic Times when willful silence came?

  15. Shalom William,

This is the rest of the post:

A clue comes in verse 3 where the angel steps forward with a golden censor that held prayers of the saints of the fifth seal. This then he mixed with judgment "filled it with fire (judgment)from the altar" then threw it down.
This judgment goes back to that sixth seal and what happened in the seventh. The sixth seal is those martyred for their faith and they were told to wait, "until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren should be complete." These fellow servants are those who are destined to die as martyrs, among them the 144,000.
It is these with those 144000 that experienced that "willful silence" during that partition. It will end, Paul forewarned us, when "the full number of the gentiles come in", Rom.11.25. The “full number of the gentiles” is melo hagoyim in Hebrew, and we believe it refers to E’phrayim:
“Nevertheless, his younger brother (Manas’sah’s younger brother, E’phrayim) will become greater than he, and his descendants will become the fullness of the gentiles.” Gen.48.19.
Furthermore, this is not "come in" which is the common interpretation of that word but come into. Again using the roots, eis is a primary root which means "be of one mind,” “sharing a purpose,” “being among,” etc... And hodos which is “way”, “road”, or “journey”. So it’s not a simple "come in,” but rather E'phrayim has to collectively come to some common ground on a certain path or journey.
This common path is explained above and in an earlier post. Moshiach Ben E’phrayim is not a single person, but a tribe. This tribe is destined to die like Him and willingly take up their crosses to follow after Him. This was why He allowed them to be thrown into prison in 2006.
And all these events came together ten years ago in 2006 and that willful silence came as the devil threw E’phrayim into prison. And when the Days of Awe reach the tenth day, Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) always comes! Therefore, after ten years of imprisonment it becomes 2016 and so it is expected those trumpets will sound.
So the question isn’t “will they sound,” but rather when. Although we may not be very good at surmising dates, we still noticed something about 2006. The Days of Awe began in October that year- Rosh Hashanah was Oct 4th (just one day later than this year’s). So risking yet another venture of determining a time frame, perhaps the mistake all along was looking at the wrong year’s dates. After all, the judgment forcing us into prison was 2006, so it may have started during those holidays, thus it would seem reasonable it should end exactly ten years later.
