Why Does Jesus Appear in the Sky after the Opening of Seal 6?
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Rev 6
Jesus appears in the sky after the opening of Seal 6 and people are scared to death. Why does Jesus appear after the opening of seal 6?
There are only two times when Jesus appears during the end times, at the rapture when He is seen in the sky and at Armageddon when He returns to the earth. So, after the opening of the sixth seal, which one of the two is it?
Answer: The rapture. this is clearly seen in the gospels.
24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.(Sixth Seal)
26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. Mk 13:24-27
And we know that gathering is the rapture, not the second coming, because the Mark 13 passage goes on to tell us that this is an event that we will not know when it will occur.
32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
34 For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. Mk 13:32-37
The rapture is the event that we will not know when it will occur, not the Second Coming. We will know when the Second Coming will occur because it occurs 7 years after the end times begins. So the timing of the Second Coming is known, the only unknown coming of the Lord and our gathering to Him is the rapture.
So, why does Jesus appear in the sky after the opening of Seal 6?
Answer: Because He appears at the rapture.
Why do so many reject what God clearly teaches in His Word?
Answer: Because they have been taught a lie for so long that they cannot discern the truth anymore, and or they are too proud to admit they are wrong, and or they don't want to lose their position in their religious organization, and or they don't want to face the ridicule of others.
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Jn 8:32
"Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." — Luke 21:36
