The Bible gives us specific warnings about the last days, painting a picture of a time when Israel will stand alone, isolated and surrounded by the nations of the world. As we look at shifting geopolitical alliances and the drumbeats of war, let's look closely at what the prophets and Jesus Himself revealed about these exact moments in history.
God tells us in the Bible that in the last days Israel will be surrounded by her enemies—all the world will come against her.
1 And the word of the
Lord came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, set thy
face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and
prophesy against him,
3 And say, Thus saith
the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and
Tubal:
8 After many days
thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that
is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the
mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out
of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them. Ezek 38:1-3,8

Take
note at what Jesus told us would befall Israel in the last days.
20 And when ye shall
see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is
nigh.
21 Then let them
which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst
of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
22 For these be the
days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 But woe unto them
that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall
be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
24 And they shall
fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations:
and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the
Gentiles be fulfilled. Luke 21:20-24
And
Jesus also told us that this would happen before the rapture, which occurs
after the sun is darkened and the moon is turned to blood after the opening of
the sixth seal.
25 And there shall be
signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth
distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts
failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on
the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Luke 21:25-27
Is the
white horse riding conquering the old world order to bring about the new? Is the
red horse riding and will the “lies turn to mushrooms” as the song below tells
us?
