Why I Expect To See The Rapture 2013 - 2015

 

If you were asked; “When do you expect the rapture?” how would you respond? Here are the results of an online survey at The Alpha Omega Report website asking the same question. [1]

I participated in the survey and I choose 2013 – 2015. I do not know why others choose their answers but I would like to explain why I choose mine. I believe that it is possible that the 70^thweek began on 11/10/2009 and if that is true, then the Sixth Seal and the rapture would have to occur 2013-15. Let me explain this more fully, starting with why I believe the 70^th week may have started on 11/10/2009.

There are several reasons why I believe the 70^th week may have begun on 11/10/2009. The first involves the Two Witnesses.

The Two Witnesses
The two witnesses have an important role to play in the end times and the span of their ministry provides us with an end times chronological parameter. Their ministry is described in Rev 11:3-15.

And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodomand Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly. And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Many over the years have debated their identity. My study of scripture has led me to believe that they may be Elijah and John. Elijah is the prophet who is to return to earth before the Lord returns (Mal 4:5,6), and John was told that he was to prophesy again (Rev 10:11). These two witnesses, whoever they are, will prophesy and proclaim God’s message of salvation and repentance to the world from Jerusalem. They will also have power, like Moses before Pharaoh, to inflict the world with many judgments.

The timing of their ministry has also been debated. However if you look to the end of Revelation 11, you will notice that right after the witnesses die and are resurrected, the second woe is past. The three woes are the last three trumpet judgments. Thus, their work on earth ends between the 6th and 7th trumpet judgment. (The last 30 days before Armageddon are for the seventh trumpet judgment, which consists of the seven bowl judgments.) Thus with their 1260 day ministry ending at the latest at day 2490—30 days before Armageddon—this would place the start of their ministry sometime before day 1230.

We also know that the 2 witnesses are to die and their bodies will lie in the street for 3½ days, which may be part of the 1260 they are allotted to minister or may be outside of it. If the 3½ days are part of the 1260 days and they are killed on day 2490 then their ministry would end on day 2494 and start on day 1234.

Jewish tradition places the return of Elijah to occur during a Passover Seder.[2] So if that tradition has merit and Elijah is one of the two witnesses, and he starts his ministry at that time, then their 1,260-day ministry will start on the feast of Passover and continue for 1260 days and end at most on day 2494. So if the 2 witnesses are to start their ministry on Passover, are there any years in the near future, based on the calculated possible start dates for the 70th week that Passover would fall before or on day 1234?

 The only year in the next 10 years that Passover falls on or before day 1234 would be for the year 2013, which corresponds with the beginning of the 70th week on Nov 10, 2009.

Thus; if the Second Coming of Christ and the end of the 70th week aligns with the Feast of Trumpets, and if Elijah is one of the 2 witnesses and he will start his 1260 day ministry on Passover, and if their ministry will start at the latest on day 1234 then 2009 is the only year in the next 10 years that the 70th week could begin. Note; I am not saying that the 70th week began in 2009, what I am saying is that if the above assumptions are true then the only year in the next 10 years that the 70th week could begin is 2009.

Rabbi Judah Ben Samuel Prophecy

The following is the write up of a prophecy made by Rabbi Judah Ben Samuel that I believe is significant in regards to answering the question when? The original article appeared in Israel Today, March 2008.

In 1217 the Jewish Rabbi Judah Ben Samuel prophesied that the Ottoman Turks would rule over the holy city of Jerusalemfor eight Jubilees. A Jubilee is a period of 50 years according to Leviticus 25:8-13. Eight Jubilees would then be 400 years. Sure enough, 300 years later in 1517 the Ottoman Turks seized control of the city of Jerusalem and ruled over it for the next 400 years. They were finally driven out of the city and the holy land in 1917 by the Allied forces under the command of General George Allenby. The Rabbi's prophecy about the 400 years was fulfilled exactly to the year.

The Rabbi had also prophesied that during the ninth Jubilee Jerusalem would be a "no-man's land." This is exactly what happened from 1917 to 1967, due to the fact that the holy land was placed under British Mandate in 1917 by the League of Nations and literally "belonged" to no nation. Even after Israel's war of independence in 1948-49 Jerusalem was still divided by a strip of land running right through the heart of the city, with Jordan controlling the eastern part of the city and Israelcontrolling the western part of the city. That strip of land was considered and even called "no-man's land" by both the Israelis and the Jordanians. Anyone even stepping into that strip would be shot down. I lived during that period of time and well remember the reports in the newspapers and shown on TV about the division of Jerusalem. It was not until the Six Day War in 1967 when the entire west bank of the holy land was conquered by the Israeli army that the whole city of Jerusalempassed back into the possession of Israel. So once again the prophecy made by the Rabbi 750 years previously was fulfilled to the letter.

But that is still not the end of the matter. The Rabbi also prophesied that during the 10th Jubilee Jerusalem would be under the control of the Jews and the Messianic "end times" would begin. The 10th Jubilee began in 1967 and will be concluded in 2017.

Let's consider the data;

Jubilees 1-8—1517 to 1917 Turks will rule.

Jubilee 9 – 1917 to 1967 Jerusalem No man’s land

Jubilee 10—1967 to 2017 “during the 10th Jubilee Jerusalem would be under the control of the Jews and the Messianic "end times" would begin.”

Jubilee 11 begins at Yom Kippur 2017

Therefore if the prophecy is to be trusted then the Millennium would have to start within the time of the 10th jubilee, before the 11th Jubilee starts. I believe that the millennial reign of Christ will not start until the Feast of Tabernacles, and the last Feast of Tabernacles in the 10th Jubilee period would be in 2016. Therefore if the prophecy is to be trusted and The Millennial reign of Christ starts at the Feast of Tabernacles then it would have to occur in 2016, which implies a 2009 start date for the 70^thWeek.

2014/2015 Lunar and Solar Eclipses

There is another event looming on the horizon that may have some significance to the end times. In 2014 and 2015 there will be 4 blood moon total lunar eclipses all falling on feast days.

1. Passover, April 15, 2014
2. Tabernacles October 8, 2014
3. Passover, April 4, 2015
4. Tabernacles, September 28, 2015

What is significant about this? A tetrad of lunar eclipses on feast days has only occurred three times in the last 500 years; 1949/50, 1967/68 and 1493/4. During most recent tetrads of total eclipses Israel was at war. Though Israelwas declared an independent state sixty years ago in 1948, the war with its neighbors began after its first day and lasted for a year. Therefore, the first lunar eclipse of 1949 occurred during this war for the establishment of Israel. The next tetrad began on Passover 1967, which was just six weeks before the Six-Day-War. Therefore, these two significant wars of Israel were covered by each tetrad period.[3] The other tetrad of eclipses on feast days was in 1493/4. In 1492 the Jews were kicked out of Spain.

Is this upcoming tetrad a sign from God that something significant will occur in 2014/15 in regards to Israel? Will they be involved in another major war at that time, possibly even the end times war with the antichrist when Israelis surrounded by armies and has to flee into the wilderness?

And when ye shall see Jerusalemcompassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. (Luke 21:20-21)

If this tetrad is pointing to this war then it could be pointing to the Second Coming in 2016. Note: This tetrad could also be pointing to the war being a year later.

The Great Pyramid

The great Gizapyramid, what does that have to do with the Bible and 2016? The answer may surprise you. Over the years there has been a lot of speculation and information written about the pyramids. Much of it has focused around the idea of who built the pyramids with intonations that aliens built them.

My research has brought me to a different conclusion, namely that it is highly possible that God orchestrated the building of the pyramids. In fact many think that the Great Pyramid is referenced in Isaiah 19:19,20 In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD. 20 And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt:

Could the builder of the Great Pyramid be a space visitor from another planet? Possibly, if we focus on his advanced knowledge. However, being able to see and/or control the future precisely is what we would recognize as supernatural. Dedication of the interior of the Pyramid to the history of the Jews, prophecy, and especially to the life and death of Christ indicates that the Pyramid must have been designed and built with Supernatural help as a prophetic monument able to endure through the ages, despite millennia of natural and man-made assaults against it

There are many astounding and interesting facts about the pyramid expounded upon in various articles here are a few that some believe are date ciphers.

The calculated height of the Great Pyramid with the capstone--the capstone is not there-- is 481.33 ft high which equals 5776 inches. Under the pyramid on the back of the dollar bill is the year 1776. In Masonry teachings 1776 is the year 5776. 5776 in Hebrew chronology is the year 2016.

So if the pyramid was designed and built by God's supernatural intervention and the calculated height including the missing capstone is a time code then it points to the year 2016--or in other words if the pyramid was designed and built by God's supernatural intervention and the time the capstone (Jesus) will be in place (His second Coming) will be 2016.

These reasons and some others lead me to believe that the 70^thweek may have begun on 11/10/2009 and thus the Second Coming will be in 2016. Did anything happen on that date to possibly indicate this? According to this article the New World Order began on that date!

The New World Order came into being at 4:25 Tuesday afternoon. (11/10/2009) It arrived at the Capitol, until that moment the seat of American government, in the form of the stooped and bespectacled figure of Ban Ki-moon, who as U.N. secretary general is the de facto leader of what conspiracy theorists call the One World Government…[4]

So if the assumption that the 7oth week began in 2009 is true then what timeframe would that allow for the rapture? We know that the rapture will occur at the Sixth Seal event which occurs after the midpoint, when the antichrist begins to rule and the great tribulation begins. We also know that the rapture will most likely occur in alignment with the Feast of Trumpets. Realizing the Trumpet and bowl judgments will take at least a year to be fulfilled we could then conclude that the rapture would have to occur between the midpoint and about a year before the Second Coming.

If our assumption about the beginning of the 70^thweek in 2009 is correct, then the rapture would be between 2013 and 2015. And if it is to occur on the Feast of Trumpets then we could theorize three possible dates for the rapture to occur; September 5, 2013, September 25, 2014, and September 14, 2015.

In regards to these possible dates we know that Christ told us that He would shorten the length of time of the great tribulation brought by the antichrist.When ye therefore shall see the Abomination of Desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains…But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. (Matt 24:15-22)

So Christ, for the sake of His church, will shorten the days of the great tribulation that will come upon the world after the antichrist takes power. This fact leads us to conclude that the rapture could occur closer to the midpoint than the end.

Another verse in scripture which tells us that the great tribulation will be shortened is “But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.” (Mt 10:23) This verse is in reference to the persecution during the great tribulation and again indicates that it will be shortened. These facts may enable us to eliminate the last of the three remaining dates, let’s pray that it is the first, maranatha!

Some may object to me giving possible dates for the rapture to occur saying that it is “date setting.” First off I am not setting a date; I do not know when the rapture will occur. What I am saying is that we can know a general time frame within the 70th Week for the rapture. When the 70th Week begins, and if the rapture will occur in alignment with the Feast of Trumpets, then we can know possible dates for it to occur. Just as one could know the general time frame for the Feast of Trumpets, but not the exact day, so I believe that we also can ascertain from scripture a general time frame for the rapture, but not the exact day. Jesus Himself told us that the day would not overtake the saved as a thief, only the unsaved.

For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. (1 Thess. 5:2-4.)

If the rapture is not going to occur in alignment with Rosh Hashanah, then we could see the rapture align with another feast,[5] and if not another feast then it could be anytime between the midpoint and at least one year before the battle of Armageddon with the time cut short for the elect’s sake. I would like to point out a scripture passage that connects the Day of the Lord, the rapture, and feasts.

And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord God, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day: And I will turn your feasts into mourning…(Amos 8:9,10)

The passage starts off talking about the Day of the Lord, which is when the rapture occurs, and then says that after it occurs their feasts will be turned to mourning. This passage could be suggesting that the Day of the Lord and the rapture happen at the time of a feast just as I have suggested.

Again, the 2013 - 2015 dates are just an example of how the dates would be calculated if the Second Coming was in 2016 and the 70th week in 2009, with the rapture aligning with the feast of Trumpets. I would highly recommend looking at the chart entitled “The 70th Week of Daniel”for a pictorial representation of the data. It will help you to conceptualize the chronological information presented.

When will we know if the assumption about the 70^th week starting in 2009 is true or false? When we see the seals opened, which includes WWIII. Can we assign a possible start date for WWIII so that we can be on the watch for it? Yes; former Illuminati satanist, Doc Marquis said, “once World War III begins the antichrist will arise on the world scene in 13 weeks (91 days).” [6]

We know that the antichrist will be given 3.5 years to rule the world, thus his reign will start at the midpoint, and therefore the 91 day period at the latest would begin 91 days before the midpoint. At the earliest I believe it is possible that it could begin 60 days prior to that and at the latest at the midpoint. Thus I see that WWIII will most likely begin between day 1110 and 1169. The following chart lists the possible start dates according to these parameters for several years in the future.

Thus I believe that WWIII will be an important time marker for determining the chronology of the 70^th Week. When it begins, realize that we are at a prophetic time just prior to the midpoint of the 70^th Week. Note: I also see the remote possibility that WWIII may begin at the latest at the midpoint and in reference to 2013 that would be 4/22/13.

An interesting piece of information surfaced that suggests that we may see WWIII in the 2012 timeframe listed above. The information comes from an interview with a military insider posted at Project Camelot. Here is a snippet taken from the middle of the interview that I will comment on below.

W: I think it's best to look at this in stages. So we're talking about a conventional war of sorts; that war then eliciting the use of a nuclear weapon either by the Chinese or by the Iranians.

B: Okay.

W: Probably more likely by Iran, to stop it going any further. Then we're talking about an exchange of weapons and then a ceasefire before we have something that's no longer confined to a geographical area.

B: What does that look like? Is this global? For instance, are you talking nuclear weapons on American territory, in Europe, and so forth?

W: No. Global nuclear war wasn't mentioned.

B: Okay.

W: It was just purely geographical, Middle East…

B: Okay. What's the timing for this series of events, as best you know?

W: As best I know... 18 months. It's definitely before 2012.

B: Okay.

W: Or around 2012, sometime in that year....So we're going to head into this war, then after that... and I can't give you a timescale for when this is going to happen... there will be a geophysical event taking place on Earth which is going to affect everybody…

B: Do you think that they know when this is happening? Or do you think they think it's just happening "sometime"?

W: Yes. I think they've got a good idea of when it's going to happen. I don't know when that is. However, I've got this very strong feeling that it's going to happen in my lifetime, say within 20 years. You could probably bring that back even further -- between now and ten years; between now and five years.

If you read the entire interview what I believe we see being talked about here is WWIII--Seal 2, Economic collapse--Seal 3, Biowarfare and death of 1/4 of world's population--Seal 4, arising of the antichrist and takeover of the world, and a great geophysical event--Seal 6--Rapture. The timeline given for the beginning of the war is "or around 2012, sometime in that year."

So if this military insider's information is correct then he is suggesting WWIII (Seal 2) “around 2012.” Thus his information may possibly confirm the 2009 –2016 timeline with WWIII by 1/21/13 or at the latestest 4/22/13, the rapture at the 6th seal 2013-2015, and the Second Coming in 2016.

So are we in the 70th week now will WWIII occur in 2013? I do not know for sure but I am keeping a keen eye on prophetic developments. We will not know for sure until we can definitely know that a seal has been opened.If the Seals do not occur by 4/22/13 then I would conclude that the 70th week did not start in 2009 and the Second Coming will not be in 2016 and we will look to a future year.

God’s prophetic time clock is counting down. With the distinct possibility that the 70th week has started or could start in the very near future, we must be ready and prepared as best we can to overcome the challenges that lie ahead“lest coming suddenly He find you sleeping” and lest “that day come upon you unawares.”

Some believe that the rapture could align with the feast of Pentecost or Tabernacles because they are both feasts associated with gathering of a harvest. It is also possible that the rapture may not align with any of the feasts.
